Ade pointed out that “Singapore’s historic role as trans-shipment centre for the south east Asia region has traditionally created opportunities across a broad spectrum of sectors. This globally connected, multi-cultural and cosmopolitan city state offers a conducive environment, especially to creative and knowledge-driven businesses. On the other hand today, Malaysia is the world’s largest producer of computer disk drives and rubber and one of the largest producers of timber; while Indonesia is not the easiest place in the world in which to do business. The 'World Competitiveness Scoreboard' currently ranks Indonesia at 45, only two places ahead of Russia (47), and in stark contrast to countries such as Australia (13), Singapore (2) and the US (1).”
Ade spent a lot of his time representing various companies either at supply chain level, operational level, sales and marketing level, and senior executive level across Asia, North America, Africa, Eastern and Western Europe.
