The Dating Game Explained: Why 1 in 5 Are Single in the UK!

Added: (Thu Apr 22 2010)

Pressbox (Press Release) - With over 12 million singletons and the number of people living alone in the UK on the rise, the Dating Doctors at Love Systems have carried out an in-depth survey on the Dating Game and how an understanding of the chemical and psychological roots of love could lead to finding your Mr or Mrs Right!

Too many of the nation are blinded by the physical qualities of the opposite sex and don’t take the time to look deeper and develop an understanding of their love interest! A recent survey by the company into who’s hot and whose not, revealed that women in the UK would most like to date the dreamy Robert Pattinson and most men would like to bed the super sexy Jessica Alba, with Cheryl Cole following close behind, no surprise there! But if men and women were to look at the psychology behind dating and the differences between the sexes, then they would have a far more realistic chance of finding a partner!

Top 5 Most Fanciable Men

1 – Robert Pattinson (67%)

2 - Matthew McConaughey (14%)

3 – Richard Gere (8%)

4 – Clive Owen (6%)

5 – Daniel Craig (5%)

Top 5 Most Fanciable Women

1 – Jessica Alba (36%)

2 – Cheryl Cole (34%)

3 - Elizabeth Hurley (15%)

4 – Megan Fox (11%)

5 – Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (4%)

More surprisingly, the Love Systems survey also revealed that if we were to dip our toes into the political love pool, top choices would include Conservative’s Sarah Cameron and Labour’s David Milliband!

So, if you’ve tried online dating, speed dating, dating agencies etc and you still haven’t found love, then maybe it’s time to stop and think about what you might be doing wrong, and what you should be doing to become lucky in love. If you’re looking to find the guy or girl of your dreams then it’s time to listen to the experts!

Jeremy Soul from Love Systems comments:

“The biggest challenge people face these days is: where do you meet people? It’s easy when we’re at university because everyone is young, enthusiastic, social and involved in lots of different activities.

But as you get older and more serious about finding love, the dating pool seems to get more shallow. Most people rely on meeting someone either through friends or through their workplace.

These are both decent strategies, especially if you have a job in a big company with lots of people or if you have good friends who know a lot of people. But they’re also limited if neither of things are true.

On our Love Systems workshops, we teach men how to approach and meet women anywhere and anytime. Whether it’s at a lounge bar in the evenings, in a café during the day, or indeed, through building a social circle of interesting people.

Ultimately, it comes down to confidence and etiquette. The problem is, what our mothers and sisters told us about how to attract a partner into our life isn’t necessarily correct. There’s a lot of relationship advice out there, but not much good advice on how to begin a relationship.

That’s where Love Systems comes in.”

Jeremy Soul or one of the Dating Doctors at Love Systems will be available to discuss The Dating Game and how to find your perfect partner!
