A new concept for flooring and home improvement

Added: (Tue Aug 26 2008)

In the wake of wood and laminate flooring showrooms closing comes a new idea.

Floors to Go one of the UKs largest flooring companies closed 42 showrooms last month, this was credited partly put down to the credit crunch and partly to the fall in laminate and vinyl flooring sales.

Out of this a revolutionary new idea has sprung. www.elitewoodflooring.co.uk is the birthchild of some of floors to go's old directors and is a compleatly web and home visit based company.

They offer quality solid wood flooring at a cost effective price. They do this with little overheads because they don't have any show room but use your own home instead. With this you can choose from their huge selection of products with out leaving the comfort of your home. This home visit enables them to provide a free site survey so that they can advise you of product suitability and price. Once the products are selected and the site survey complete they then arrange for a team of our highly skilled fitters to install the product at a time and date convenient to you.

This take on flooring is generally cheaper, more convenient and of a better quality than before.

At the moment they are operating around Yorkshire and the Midlands but hope to soon to expand their reach to include most of the UK.

Chairman Eddie Taylor says "We hope that this idea can catch on. Times are hard for people at the moment and we want to make this one task a little bit easier."
