Pressbox (Press Release) - CADEC is an online application that performs composite materials analysis as described in the textbook Introduction to Composite Materials Design-- Second Edition, CRC, 2010.

Introduction to Composite Materials Design-Second Edition features 13 chapters.

This web application implements the equations for:

Ply Mechanics
Macromechanics
Strength
Damage
Fabric-Reinforced Composites
and Beams
Each of these topis corresponds to chapters in the textbook. In this application there are two major menus: Chapters and My Documents. The menu Chapters links the pages for the analysis capabilities of the application. These capabilities are organized in the same way as the textbook; that is, by chapters.
