Students have greater rate of success when material is learned in a contextual setting
News in Slow Spanish announced its plans to create a comprehensive interactive Spanish Exercises online module. The module will target Spanish language learners from beginners to advanced intermediate levels. The module will become a part of company’s Spanish Online program that has built most of its material in a contextual way by helping students relate the story (context) to the Spanish grammar and expression lessons.
The Spanish Exercises module is intended to increase vocabulary as well as show how it is used in every day speech its correct grammatical placement in a sentence. The new Spanish Exercises module will continue utilizing quiz structures that the company has piloted during the 2 years of broadcasting and teaching Spanish online (www.NewsInSlowSpanish.com ). News in Slow Spanish has accumulated over 100 Spanish Exercises that cover grammar, comprehension, and pronunciation aspects of Spanish language.
The creators of the program hope that the new Spanish exercises module will help students practice various aspects of Spanish language in a more natural way by following a short story presented in a quiz or a fragment of a quiz. To help the students retain the acquired knowledge, the Spanish Exercises module will use repetitive themes, characters, and vocabulary.
