British Stores Get Serious about UEFA EURO 2004™ CD Cardz™

April 23rd 2004 New York, NY: Serious Global Holdings Ltd, announced today that it’s UEFA EURO 2004™ CD Cardz (Win/Mac) will be available in 30,000 outlets throughout the UK from early May, in time for the highly anticipated football competition in Portugal this June. Stores carrying the cardz include: Tescos, Woolworths, WH Smith (High Street)and Costcutter, in addition to independent newsagents and convenience stores. The cardz retail at ₤1.99 each, or £159 for the entire collection in an exclusive collector case.
The sixty player cardz feature informative interactive content written by Fox Sports World commentator Nick Webster, all supported by official match footage, action photography, trivia, desktop goodies, music etc. Chosen star footballers who are due to play in the Championship this summer, include key members of the England team; David Beckham, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard Jnr, Sol Campbell, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville, in addition to fifty-one other players from eleven national teams.
