Cooper Owen’s first AT THE MOVIES – Celebrity & Film sale of 2004 takes place on 28th April and will include a wide variety of autographed items, posters, props, costumes and ephemera.
Lots of note include a hat worn and signed by Elvis Presley in Stay Away Joe repro Luke Skywalker light sabre from Star Wars: Return of The Jedi, working replica of Hans Solo's Blaster 'Star Wars' 2003 and Sand Blaster helmet as well as very rare pre-production Droid Manual from 'Star Wars' by John Stears, reproduction Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet marionettes, props from recent Oscar nominated films such as Cold Mountain and Seabiscuit, a selection of props from recent Bond films, Scott Evil's Boots from Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, sought after Harry Potter premiere wand boxes and pen and quill sets, rare Playboy illustrations and much more.
Autographs include Hollywood’s finest such as Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh, Orsen Welles, Judy Garland, Errol Flynn, Cary Grant, Mae West together with an extensive collection of cast signatures from James Bond films throughout the years as well as the autographs other well known figures such as Rudolph Nureyev and Winston Churchill.
The sale will take place in real-time live on www.ebayliveauctions.com and will comprise two parts, the first section will be PROPS, COSTUME, POSTERS & EPHEMERA and will take place at 4pm BST, followed by FILM & CELEBRITY AUTOGRAPHS at 5.30pm BST.
