Kuramathi Island Resort is proud to mark the year of the dragon this year.



The history of Chinese cuisine is dated back to 4000 years, and is regarded as a potpourri of interesting, rich recipes. Kuramathi Island Resort brings out the flavours of the Far East to celebrate this occasion. A Chinese Corner is dedicated at all our main restaurants; a special a selection of dishes, cleverly handpicked by our Executive Chef is laid out on display.



A unique buffet also takes place on the Chinese New Year, that takes you on a let us take you to on a culinary journey as you dine and imbibe the exotic fare of the many Chinese provinces. This special buffet takes place on the beach side, adjacent to Malaafaiy restaurant. Complimentary Chinese beer and Green Tea are also served during dinner.



Savour your taste buds as you explore the vast Chinese cuisine, known for their diversity of its delicacies originated in different regions.
