Run for Fun This April at the Great Lapu-Lapu Run in Cebu

Pressbox (Press Release) - Everyone is invited to partake in the Great Lapu-Lapu Run on 18 April, 2010. It will be held in Lapu-Lapu City in Mactan, Cebu.

Cebu, Philippines – Travelers are invited to put on their running shoes and join in the Great Lapu-Lapu Run in Lapu-Lapu City. The race will begin and end at the Mactan Shrine in Barangay Engaño. Runners can choose from varying track lengths to suit their fitness level. These include the 3 kilometer and 5 kilometer dash for beginners, and for the more experienced participants, they can choose between the 10 kilometer or the 21 kilometer run.

This event was organized by the Lapu-Lapu City Tourism Cultural and Historical Commission and the Lapu-Lapu City Government.

The winners stand to win over Php 242,000 in prizes, and they also get to go to the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon.
