Pressbox (Press Release) -
Monroe Mann, the genius behind the slogans "ROMP ON" and "see you AT THE TOP" (both trademarked) and motivational guru behind the World famous acting school 'Unstoppable Artists Business School' is set to sell his charisma and make a fortune.
Mann's charisma is legendary in the New York county of Rye, where it became known as the 'Roe Factor' and is said to be behind such great moments in entertainment history as his star-making turn playing the critically ill ex-boyfriend of seductress Erika Christensen in Box Office hit film 'Swimfan'.
Since his appearance in the film, Monroe has been besieged by Hollywood talent wanting to work with him. It's been hectic turning down literally hundreds of job offers including the lead in Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk the Line'.
"It's true that Monroe turned down 'Walk the Line'" said a fan, "but that's just because he didn't want his own music career to overshadow the work of Cash. People would see the film and only see the famous singer from the ROMP band 'Running for Famous' rather than the character he was trying to portray."
In an interview at the time of considering the role, Mann was asked what it would be like be involved with such a World famous singer, Mann replied "I don't know, you'd better ask him". Cash died shortly after.
Monroe intends to hold back from starring in the big budget Hollywood films and retain his dignity by working only in choice character roles of the same magnitude as 'Jake Donnelly' in Swimfan.
These self-imposed spells away from the camera have resulted in a build up intense creativity from Monroe, but he admits that there is too much for just one person, hence the idea to bottle his charisma so other people can feel how great it is to be brilliant like himself.
But the question is just how will Monroe bottle it? A member of Monroe's entourage fills us in: "Whenever Monroe is feeling brilliant he literally feels the charisma building inside of him like helium filling a balloon and lifting it into the sky. He's learned to release it in a controlled manner of either a single heavy burst, or several long expulsions. We've discovered it is highly flammable, but can be captured in a bottle. We plan to sell the charisma in either air form, or the more expensive solid form. The solid charisma is less frequently created, hence the high price tag. Our market for solid charisma is in the price bracket of a Hollywood power player."
Mann expects his bottled charisma industry to make at least $3million within the first year. He's under no illusions of what charity the money will go to: his own charity set up to finance his film and avoid taxation (wakinamovie.com). The film, called 'In the Wake', is set around the impressive extreme sport of wake-boarding and revolves around the three most popular cinematic themes: egotism, mopeds and motivational speeches.
