Every Saturday at noon pacific time do the Racism Rinse with Jazz Joy and Roy

Added: (Wed Aug 18 2010)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A California syndicated radio show is asking people who agree that racism stinks to wash and rinse their hair, at the same time.

"I think everybody should wash their hair or scalp at the designated moment in a demonstration of solidarity against the racism that exists, to one degree or another, in all of us," said Roy Gray, host of the Jazz Joy and Roy syndicated radio show.

The worldwide, weekly "Racism Rinse" is scheduled for Saturdays at noon pacific time.

While simply washing and rinsing the hair is not expected to wash racism away, it may mark one of the first simultaneous, universal acknowledgments that anti-racism remains an individual responsibility.
