Astrophotography Website Launches

A new website aimed at helping with the art and science of astrophotography launched today. The Astrophotography Directory has been developed to provide tips and techniques on how to photograph the stars and galaxies with your own digital camera.
Peter Smith owner of the site explains "Astrophotogaphy is gaining ground as a method to capture the night sky with standard cameras and can be undertaken by keen amateurs with even the most basic of equipment. There are now companies entering this field of expertise and we wanted to add information to help people improve their abilities and the quality of the pictures they take"
In time www.astrophotography.org.uk will add more pictures taken of stars, planets and moons and additional techniques on how to improve performance of peoples' pictures.
Peter added "This is a developing area with technology improving each day and we wanted to have one place where keen astro photography users could go to and get all the latest information"
