Wine and Food Travel Online Magazine welcomes Kim Stakal as Content Manager

Pressbox (Press Release) - Wine and Food Travel is thrilled to announce the promotion of Kimberley Stakal from Food Writer to Content Manager. The move is in an effort to best maximize internal efforts of the business, which has grown exponentially since its launch in early 2010.
“Kim’s enthusiasm has been magnetic,” says WAFT founder Sonya Lee. “She has been vocal about new ideas for the website, surprisingly creative and talented. I can’t imagine the team without her!”

Stakal’snew role will be to manage the website’s content, communicate with the writers and ensure that the articles are intriguing and interesting. Shehas been instrumental in implementing new processes that increase the productivity of the team. Additionally, she still contributes regularly to the “Healthy Tips,” “Food Spotlight,” and “Recipes” columns.

Stakal is excited to be part of the WAFT team. “The Wine and Food Travel community is a dedicated group of life-lovers. Everybody brings their own passions to the table, and they are shared among the group like a delicious meal,” she explains. “I am thrilled to be a part of the ever-growing team and look forward to seeing the development ahead of us.”

Kimberley Stakal is a professional food writer and recipe developer. She received her culinary training at New York’s National Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts after having received a Bachelor of Arts at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She began cooking as a means of learning to live healthier and more sustainably, but soon discovered a love of inspiring others to live well also.
