Pressbox (Press Release) - This programme is aimed at empowering women and youth/groups in viable economic activities to improve on their livelihood and more so tap their potential with talents and creativity, to enable them be self reliant.
We bring in talented and experienced volunteers from overseas and locally, we are always on the lookout for enthusiastic and innovative thinkers to help us with the economic development programme.
The more time you are able to commit, the more you will gain from the volunteering experience.
Further, the more overseas volunteers are able to prepare for Kiswahili prior to arrival, the better, as this will mean you are able to communicate with the families and gain a better understanding of their situation and how they benefit from our programme.
Volunteers involved in the economic development section will get to know all aspects of the programme, namely the micro credit project, the business and productive workshops as well as marketing and distribution of products and services.
The volunteers will be appointed to the projects that suit their skills and interests in which their help is needed most.
