New 1xN Cost Effective Switches

Pressbox (Press Release) - A novel self-aligning V-groove innovation enables extremely cost effective 1xN (up to 1x500) optical switches.
Agiltron patent pending SelfAlign™ technology eliminates the need for collimating lenses and optical coatings employed in traditional optical switches.

1x8 to 1x500
Ultra-low insertion loss: ~0.6dB (any N)
Ultra broadband: 300~2,000nm
Self-latching
Any fibre core size
Durability: 107 cycles
Embedded driver (RS232, RS485, RJ45 or USB)
GUI software

This expands the already comprehensive range of optical switches from Agiltron including:

Ultra-low loss LightBend (~0.5dB)
Ultra-high reliability CrystaLatch (>1011)
Very fast Nanospeed (~0.3ės)

In standard, latching, high power, PM, bidirectional and up to 16 x 16 versions

N x N versions (up to 500 x 500) will be available soon.
