Handyman crafts hit book for children

Added: (Tue Feb 19 2019)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A handyman from the Pacific Northwest has finally begun building a young fan base after publishing his five-star debut novel.
Charlie Schlafke has spent the past 15 years crafting and shaping his imaginative short stories for children.
Since finally publishing his first book earlier this year it has received glowing reviews from captivated readers.
And Mr Bigglebots’ BōBigliest Bookatorium has also just reached the top ten of Amazon’s science fiction charts.
Charlie, who writes every morning from around 4.30am, hopes his first children’s novel will encourage the next generation to stick with books.
Charlie, who is also a talented artist, said: “I wrote Mr Bigglebots’ BōBigliest Bookatorium as I wanted to bring back the idea of books being a wonderful place for minds to go to instead of just the cascade of digital entertainment.”
“The people who have read it so far have all loved it.”
“I’ve been a writer most of my life, but only started to try to craft my stories in the last 15 years or so.”
Mr Bigglebots’ BōBigliest Bookatorium takes readers into a magical world where anything and everything is possible.
Big sister Jamie, like most girls of her age, is searching for her place in life while little brother Derek is too adventurous for his own good.
Together they embark on their first cosmic adventure with the mysterious Mr Bigglebots – an adventure that will change both of their lives.
Mr Bigglebots’ BōBigliest Bookatorium is packed with twists, turns and many valuable lessons for young readers.
Charlie added: “Mr Bigglebots’ BōBigliest Bookatorium is a fantasy that puts the kids into some extraordinary circumstances.”
“Jamie and Derek have no choice but to learn some important life lessons as their adventure continues.”
Since its publication Mr Bigglebots’ BōBigliest Bookatorium has received praise from readers.
It has been described as a ‘wonderful adventure’ and as doing a ‘great job introducing the concepts of death and healthy anger management’.
One reader added: “It’s an interesting story with a surprise ending.”
Charlie has been so encouraged by the reaction to his debut children’s novel that he’s already begun plotting the sequel.
