“Summerfield: Inspired By A True Story - due for release 02/12/19”
New York— 02/10/19 — Today at a film mixer for independent filmmakers, Director / Screenwriter Albert J. Allie announced the release of his first novel “Summerfield.” The book which is due for release on Tuesday 02/12/19 has been a pet project for several years. “Summerfield,” is the story of 2 years in the life of teenager Alan Foster, who is surrounded by poverty, drugs and abuse. Although put out under the genre of “fiction,’ the book is inspired by the true experiences that Allie faced as a child. “98% of the things you will be reading about actually have happened,” Allie said. You will need to sit down with this one with some tissue and a very open mind. There are very harsh things that Alan and his four friends must endure in their home as well as their personal lives. “Summerfield,” which is also a love story is available at select retail sites for pre-order including Amazon and Barnes & Noble. You can get it in ebook or from Amazon in paperback.
A Trip through time
This is a trip back in time through the early eighties. The book makes mention of music and movies and will transport you back to your childhood.
Allie is currently updating his websites to reflect his new endeavor into writing books. And yes. He plans to write more including a series entitled “The King Of Aberidia, a sci-fi fantasy story with a twist. www.albert allie.vze.com / www.alliewayfilms,vze.com
The past is a strange and beautiful thing. Some people run from it, some try to relive it, some try to recreate it and some try to pretend that it didn’t exist… yet the path builds and defines us all. For Alan, the past is a living, breathing thing that has chased him from the streets of Summerfield to present day, where is drags him back to his roots for a funeral that never should have had to happen.Fifteen years ago, Alan was just a kid taking care of himself – and all those around him. The neighborhood kids looked up to him and relied on him, partly because they had no one else, and partly because he seemed to have a knack for the downtrodden. Fast forward and Alan feels the warm summer breeze against his skin and hears voices he hasn’t heard in a long, long time. Summerfield welcomes him like an old friend – a friend with history, knowledge and secrets that could change everything for Alan.
