Joshua at Miller Boxing : AJ’s US debut on Box Office

Added: (Sat Mar 02 2019)

Pressbox (Press Release) - The Heavyweight Champion of the World Anthony Joshua (22-0, 21 KOs) and undefeated Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller (23-0-1, 22 KOs) of Brooklyn, New York will meet to discuss their highly-anticipated heavyweight bout in a press conference in London. Joshua will make his United States debut, and defend his WBA Super, IBF, WBO, and IBO Titles against the dangerous and undefeated Miller on June 1 at MSG.

The press conference will be streamed live on DAZN Facebook, and YouTube.

It did not take long for tensions to rise at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, as Jarrell Miller would shove Anthony Joshua at the start of the press conference for their June 1st title fight.

The unified world heavyweight champion would somewhat take it in stride, but would match the aggression of the Brooklyn born boxer, nearly inciting a brawl between the boxers, their camps, and Madison Square Garden security.

While it would not end up in a “Gulotta-Bowe” level of brawl, both fighters would spend the rest of the press conference sniping and insulting one another, even referencing their mothers, as both men would attempt to get a psychological edge four months prior to fight night.

With the announcement of the Joshua vs. Miller heavyweight championship fight to be held on June 1 LIVE on DAZN, Greg Cohen, co-promoter of challenger Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller, is happily giving his congratulations to Miller and his co-promoter, Dmitriy Salita, for securing the huge opportunity.

That Saturday night, the Brooklyn-born WBA #2- and WBO #3-rated Miller (23-0-1, 20 KOs) will face WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO World Heavyweight Champion Joshua (22-0, 21 KOs) in virtually Miller’s backyard of Madison Square Garden in New York. The fight will also be broadcast to a huge worldwide audience on DAZN domestically and Sky Sports Box Office Internationally.

Miller’s rise, Cohen says, from obscure unknown to literally being one punch away from taking over the sport of boxing, took patience, expert guidance, and lots of money, as well as other-worldly dedication and unshakable confidence from Miller.
