LSoft Technologies Presents Active@ Boot Disk Version 14

Added: (Thu Feb 28 2019)

Pressbox (Press Release) -

November 14, 2018 - LSoft Technologies is proud to announce the launch of Active@ Boot Disk 14. The popular suite of disk utilities has been updated to include the most recent editions of Active@ Disk Image, File Recovery, KillDisk and Partition Recovery. Other improvements include an overhauled Bootable Disk Creator, the addition of a disk-defragmentation utility and an added option to skip USB disk formatting when creating a bootable drive.

Who Should Use Active@ Boot Disk?

Active@ Boot Disk was created by LSoft Technologies, an industry leader in data recovery and digital sanitation. Included in the package are Active@ Disk Image 9.1 and Active@ Partition Recovery 18, which are designed for recovering deleted files and partitions respectively. Since data is never permanently deleted from a digital storage device until it is physically overwritten, these tools exploit the opportunity to get data back intact.

On the other hand, if you are selling or donating your computer, then you probably won't want someone else being able to recover data. Reinstalling Windows or reverting to factory settings isn't enough to securely erase your files either. Instead, you need a program that will overwrite all the original data with zeros. The included Active@ KillDisk, which adheres to 23 widely recognized security standards, does exactly that.

These functions require a fully self-contained boot environment that works separately from your operating system. Active@ Boot Disk is exactly that - an operating system that runs from a portable device to provide access to your drives, even if you don't have an everyday operating system installed.
