Body - Stonewall Spirits are delighted to support LGBTQ+ photographer Matt Ford at his up and coming exhibition at Espacio Gallery. East London Nov 28th - Dec 4th, 2022

I wanted to create an exhibition that was not only body positive but also tries to break down the stigma and mystery around diverse sexual practices.”

The Stonewall Spirits brand was created by the Skegness based family business to raise money for LGBTQ+ charities and campaign to achieve acceptance and equality. Stonewall ‘Drink & Donate’ sends £1 from every bottle or pack directly to LGBTQ+ charities.
Inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Riots the brand retells the story of the Stonewall Inn and the Stonewall Riots that took place at the gay bar in Greenwich Village, New York. The NYPD’s oppressive harassment of the gay community culminated in a raid on the bar one night in June 1969 but this time customers fought back and barricaded the bar. The events of that night became the spark that ignited the worldwide Gay Pride movement.

The flavour created is a light extra smooth citrus flavour with the perfect serve suggested as follows: A large copa gin glass the largest single chunk of ice, 50ml Stonewall London Dry, a Fever Tree Indian Tonic, a slice of lime and a slice of pink grapefruit, general heat a sprig of rosemary to release some oils and place on side of glass to garnish.
