Unlock your canon scanner. If your canon scanner is lock you may not see your canon scanner or An error message appears and the scan fails when you try to scan to your PC. If you use the scanner without releasing the lock, it may cause failure or trouble. Contact canon printer warranty support specialist to get help.
a.) Disconnect the USB cable from your canon printer and scanner.
b.) Turn your canon scanner upside down. c.) Slide the lock switch on the bottom of the scanner toward the unlock mark to release the lock.
3.) Install Canon scanner drive. a.) Open Canon official scanning app ArcSoft PhotoStudio. b.) Select [Select Source] from the [File] menu.

C.) Select your Canon scanner model name (in this example, CanoScan LiDE600F) in [Select Source]. * If WIA-CanoScan LiDE 600F (scanner model name) is displayed, do not select it.
