Fashion design is a creative discipline that produces clothing and other items for daily life. Haute couture and ready-to-wear are the two fundamental subcategories of contemporary fashion design. The haute couture line is made especially for a select group of consumers and is tailored to their specific measurements. To qualify as a haute couture house, a designer must be a member of the Syndical Chamber for Haute Couture and present a minimum of 35 unique ensembles each time they present a new collection twice annually. Like any other profession, fashion design requires a solid foundation in ideas and principles to succeed.
The School of Fashion Design at DreamZone exposes students to the creative science of identifying and describing customers' unspoken inspirations. Dreamzone offers a wide selection of courses in the domains of fashion and design, bringing professionals into the classroom to share their important knowledge with our students. We instruct students in the fundamentals of design as well as design principles, elements, concepts, history, textiles, pattern-making, draping, garment construction, embellishments, fashion illustration, fashion studio and design software, fashion CAD software, fashion management, and merchandising. DreamZone is, in essence, a crucible of cutting-edge concepts where students learn from our master's diploma what they would only learn from a full-fledged UG or PG fashion degree.
