As I was developing and growing Ventura Pet Wellness & Dog Training Center, I began to realize that positive reinforcement dog training was not available to everyone., Because many dog trainers still use “Traditional” dog training techniques (choke chains, pinch collars, electric shock collars and other aversive techniques), there are many people who do not have access to positive training techniques. I also found that many people did not realize that dog training has been evolving from being aversive to more humane. This knowledge led me to expand my passion from providing positive reinforcement training to Ventura to providing it to anyone, anywhere. I created Truly Force Free Animal Training (www.trulyforcefree.com) to make positive reinforcement classes and animal behavior education accessible to everyone.
