Pressbox (Press Release) - Import substitution in Russia has become the main topic of recent months. According to VTsIOM, more than half of Russians are confident in the superiority of Russian products over foreign ones.

Now it's not just a brand and a symbol: new challenges have led to the creation of the All-Russian movement "Made in Russia". Thousands of entrepreneurs and hundreds of thousands of citizens raised the common slogan "Made in Russia". Today, a single information system "Made in Russia" is already available to manufacturers and consumers: dozens of digital services and special projects are starting their work. Business, citizens and the state responded to the challenges created for the Russian economy with a broad rise of business patriotism throughout the country. According to a recent study by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM), 68% of the Russian population are confident that Russian companies will be able to replace foreign ones in full or in greater volume, 66% will prefer Russian goods to foreign ones, and 57% are confident in the superiority of the quality of domestic goods over foreign ones. These data indicate broad opportunities and opening prospects for the real support and development of import substitution in Russia, within which all actors in the processes of import substitution and promotion of the national brand "Made in Russia" will certainly have to find a single development strategy for the ultimate beneficiary, which should be the state and society. How to increase and simultaneously meet the demand for domestic products? What soft and rigid mechanisms can guarantee and ensure product quality standards? How can the state help strengthen the positions of companies engaged in import substitution? What requests do citizens have for information about Russian goods? What will allow goods made in Russia to be promoted more effectively in the domestic and foreign markets? What new markets for the sale of products are being opened abroad and how will the state support exporters in the face of a break in logistics chains and sanctions against financial transactions? What DNA of values and meanings should be embedded in the national brand "Made in Russia"? What special projects, services, media content and other solutions can the Made in Russia ecosystem offer to businesses and consumers?
