myyaak up and going

Pressbox (Press Release) - Ballarat-based company DamnN International which started in late 2021 will over the next 3 to 4 years build some 50 odd apps and websites that will be all interlinked through a common banking system so that money paid in, earned, or won can be used across all apps and platforms.
The first of these is a new social media platform called myyaak, which will stop or at least limit the amount of disgusting and terrible posts on the internet. The ‘Yak’ has been out and about in Ballarat over the past week or so as well taking selfies and handing out money and lollies.
Owner Duncan Smith has read and listened to much over the past 12 or so months to people talking about ‘social media’ companies not doing enough about ‘online safety and making it harder for people to be on social media with one intention only, and that is to hurt, ridicule and put up tasteless, racist, bullying or hate post or comments.
To join myyaak a person must show 2 forms of ID. Smith knows that this may reduce the number of people that will join up, but this is the right thing to do and not just build another social media site that any Joe Blow can sign up to as a fake person. “I have already had many people who have sent in ‘stupid’ photos or the likes and people that have complained about this, but I am determined to push forward with this process”, Smith said
“I believe that this is a World first for any social media platform. Facebook has some 2.9 billion people and it will be impossible for them to ID that amount of people. The same with Tik Tok, Twitter, and all the others”.
With myyaak a person must upload 2 forms of ID or 1 ID and a phone number that a text will be sent to. All IDs will be stored on AWS (Amazon Web Services), one of the world's top cloud-based secure storage companies.
On top of this in another World first, myyaak also has a ‘yuck’ button which any person can push and if enough people push this then the post will be removed.
“Other social media platforms engage AI to identify ‘hate or racist’ comments but clearly these are falling through the cracks on most occasions, otherwise the Australian Government would not need to look at the laws that they have been talking about over the past few months”.
“I am absolutely convinced and sure that myyaak will reduce racist, bullying or hateful comments and post and as such also reduce people taking their lives because of it”.
DamnN International will also be releasing a new game sometime in late April, that will be giving away $1 million in a city in Victoria in the form of augmented reality (AR) mobile game ‘treasure hunt’, similar to the massive Worldwide phenomenon that was Pokémon Go in 2016.
“The biggest difference is that with Pokémon Go people collected creatures, whereas with the ‘DamnN HUNT’ (as it is officially called) people will be collecting coins of different values that will go into the person Sportstrade ‘player stockmarket’ portfolio. From here people can keep the player or team coin that they found (and watch it go up and down and collect dividends as well) or sell it with the money then going into their PayPal bank account”.
Depending on the size of the city virtual coins will be randomly dropped on Saturday and more coins on Sunday at 9 am each day. The coins will be able to be ‘captured’ for 12 hours until 9 pm or until they are all found.
Coins range in value from around $10 to around $10,000 each, depending on the current price of the player or team in Sportstrade at the time of the hunt.
