Prasad Gandhikota plays a critical role in providing SAP systems production support to thirty-five manufacturing plants across united states in manufacturing and product quality for an uninterrupted manufacturing.
Prasad provides Information technology (SAP, Extend AG and critical infrastructure) production support for fresh pack season of 120 days for tomatoes and vegetables.
Prasad is responsible and accountable for Supply Chain Heavy integration program split across multiple waves consisting of two to three manufacturing plants in each wave for manufacturing and product quality space. Below mentioned are some of the tasks where he provides leadership and subject matter expertise
• Discovery phase in understanding the business processes working closely with business partners in manufacturing and quality
• Documenting business requirements and gaps
• Configuring SAP systems to fulfill the business needs
• Designing and building solutions working closely with business, IT, and external partners
• Review functional specifications for RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion,
Enhancements and Forms) objects
• System integration testing
• Supports business partners in user acceptance testing
• Stabilization of the projects in defining business first metrics and daily reporting
• Developing business continuity plans
Some of the key accomplishments where Prasad owned and provided leadership are:
• Integrating SAP with kitchen batching MES systems for manufacturing plants
• Designing and building grading systems for billion-dollar brands to
fulfill FDA regulations
• Project to implement IT systems for most modernized crop management solution for vegetables and tomatoes to have a seamless contract management with suppliers
• Country of origin and shelf-life expiry tracking through SAP systems for procured, produced, and delivered products for batch recalls to fulfill regulatory standards
• Modern ERP S/4 HANA program for manufacturing companies
Some of the continuous delivery projects where Prasad provided subject matter expertise and leadership are:
• Batch archiving project to help business effectively manage batch definition by eliminating duplicates and improve the system performance
• Shop floor batch sheets using Microsoft application and Oracle PLM project to pull in right formulas across the complex bill of material structures
• Develop future demand visibility report for co-manufacturing facilities
• Develop RF issue enhancements for raw material components to improve warehouse efficiency.
